Outreach

Our Mission

The mission of FSC Outreach is to show people who Jesus is by mobilizing people to both demonstrate the Gospel in deed and proclaim the Gospel in word. We seek to meet physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional needs in our church, community and around the world.

Local Partners

We love connecting with people and partner organizations through meals! Join us in helping prepare and serve meals for Life Inc. classes and at Cornerstone Rescue Mission.

We believe in protecting the vulnerable in our society. Those are often children. Through strategic partnerships, support and service projects, we are actively making a difference in the lives of children in our community. These include wraparound care for adoptive, foster and kinship families and the Foster Supply Closet we host at Love Inc.

Abbott House is a trusted organization that serves some of the most vulnerable foster children from all over the state through their residential programs and independent learning services.

SD Kids Belong is a statewide program that works tirelessly to not only recruit much needed foster and adoptive parents, but to retain those parents through deliberate supportive care.

Esthers Rising is a faith-based organization working relentlessly to rescue, redeem, and renew child survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation.

Naomi’s House is serving vulnerable children in need of safe housing on Pine Ridge Reservation. They help children heal and thrive, with locations on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Love Inc has been a partner of Fountain Springs Church for many years and is on the front lines of mobilizing the local faith community to SEE and SERVE our neighbors. They not only house our Foster Care Supply Closet, but also impact thousands through our region with budgeting, parenting, and faith classes. They host many special events and ministries that empower many.

Cornerstone Rescue Mission serves the physical and spiritual needs of more than 500 people every day in the Rapid City area. Many that have been served by the Rescue Mission, the Cornerstone Apartments (Transitional Housing), the Cornerstone Women and Children’s Home or the Cornerstone Thrift Store have gone on to lead fulfilling, independent lives and contribute to the community in many ways.

Fork Real Cafe is a nonprofit pay-what-you-can cafe that ensures all the right to dine with dignity. When you partner with Fork Real Cafe to purchase a meal or volunteer, you are joining in the fight against food insecurity in Western South Dakota!

SHIFT GARAGE is a local partner on the front lines of serving individuals and families with transportation needs. One of the greatest barriers to employment, school attendance and overall health and well-being are directly related to reliable transportation, and SHIFT is working hard to provide a way to help anyone, and everyone get to where they need to go.

Passages is a faith-based ministry focused on providing re-entry services to women making the transition from incarceration, homelessness, or treatment centers.

Global Partners

Missionaries to the Fotizo People

Jacob and Jenna are expanding the Kingdom through church planting, refugee care, Christian education, English language classes and more. There are people going to an area that is 99.9% Muslim and unreached people group, something none of us will likely ever get to do – go and live and work and reach people who do not know who Jesus is.

Illuminations

This initiative is at the heart and soul of who we are and what we believe: that anyone and everyone matters. There should not be a person on this planet that does not have access to the Word of God, especially those in places that are unreachable or difficult to reach. Illuminations seeks to translate the Bible and bring it to those who have never had access.

Enable the Children: Sierra Leon

ETC is a team of local and immigrant staff who have provided physiotherapy and occupational therapy, care, and support services to over 1,000 children living with disabilities in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Africa. More than half of the children enrolled in ETC suffer from cerebral palsy; others cope with acquired brain injury, muscular dystrophy, orthopedic challenges, and many more.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope has a wide network of volunteers and partners helping us make the world a better place. Whether it’s feeding children, empowering women, training farmers, responding to disasters, or serving a community in need, the goal is to bring help and hope where they are needed most. We have the privilege of partnering with an organization with a national and global reach, which is providing big-picture and tangible needs to people all over the world WHILE ALSO sharing Jesus.
