Love Your Neighbor 2025!
Our mission trip to our own community! Love Your Neighbor is taking place from June 9-14, 2025. We can’t wait to spend a dedicated week making a hands-on difference right here in Rapid City, the Black Hills, and even across the world!
Love Your Neighbor week is a chance for you to connect with others, impact our region and connect with local partners and non-profits.

We have a need for support with Administration and Food for the week, if you’re interested in learning more! Please email us at outreach@fs.church!
- Every project we send volunteers to has a SITE LEAD, who is the main point-of-contact for the site and is there to help. We work hard to train and prepare each Site Leader before the week.
- If you are interested in helping to lead a site, please let us know at outreach@fs.church!
If you are unable to find a day and time that fits with your schedule, a great way to still participate is to grab a LYN tote in the lobby, fill it with the needed contents, and bring the bag back during the week. We also have some great options for Loving Your Neighbor on your own. Connect with us at outreach@fs.church for more information.
Thank you! You will begin to receive more details via email & text messaging as your serving time approaches. Specific details of what to plan for or bring will be provided.
Every project is so different! Please plan to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty … we are flexible and projects can change! Comfy, closed-toed shoes are a must!
Always bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a pair of work gloves (if potentially working outside).
Most job sites are not kid-friendly, but we have DAILY KID-FRIENDLY opportunities available! Make sure to sign-up and include the number of children you will have with you!
