What is One Day?
Convoy of Hope’s One Day to Feed the World® campaign is a simple way for you, your friends, and your family to transform the lives of those who are impoverished, hungry, and suffering. By giving one day’s wage, you provide children with nutritious food, women with resources to start their own business, and farmers with training to increase their harvests. It’s about equal sacrifice, not equal giving.
Fountain Springs is partnering with Convoy of Hope for a special offering during church services on September 23rd and 27th. At the end of these services, we will ask you to give the equivalent of one day's wage. You will be amazed at how much one day of your work can change lives!

Calculate how much you make each year, divide the number by 365, and set that amount as your One Day giving goal. Then give your gift. It’s that easy! One Day is about equal generosity, not equal giving. What does that mean? No matter what you make, you play a significant role in transforming people’s lives.

One Day is working
In dozens of countries around the world, millions of people are receiving nutritious food, better access to clean drinking water, and opportunities for a brighter future through training and education.
More than 2.33 billion people are currently facing food insecurity. Among them, 900 million people are severely food insecure, posing grave risks to their health and well-being. An estimated 700 million people live below the $2.15 per day poverty line worldwide. Like you, Convoy of Hope finds this unacceptable. We believe every life has value. Because of that, we are determined to bring help and hope to those who are hurting.
Benjamin's Story
Benjamin is a super student! He works hard in school, he never joins in when his classmates misbehave, and he even helps his parents with chores at home. On top of it all, he still finds time to paint and dance. Benjamin enjoys math, science, and English, and lately he’s enjoyed learning about agriculture and practicing his new skills in the school garden. At school, Benjamin and his classmates get daily, nutritious meals from Convoy of Hope’s Children’s Feeding program, and the school garden contributes fruits and vegetables to those meals.

“It was so hard for me and my fellow students because there was no assurance of getting meals at our school in the past,” Benjamin said. “Afterward, we felt so grateful for the meal provision from Convoy of Hope.” When you feed children with Convoy of Hope, you open the door to tremendous possibilities. You and Convoy — together — are strategically investing at a critical time in their lives. By feeding children in schools, we are providing them with the vital nutrition they need to thrive. “The food helps me focus mostly on my studies,” Benjamin said. “My dream is to work hard in school to eventually join the army in the future when I grow up. I want to serve, protect, and safeguard my country.” With the right support and access to nutritious meals, Benjamin is on a path toward a bright and promising future.
